5,000 years have passed since the collapse of humanity. Our planet is a frozen wasteland, but the time has come for you and your people to make civilization flourish again and show the world a new time of splendor. In Revive, each player leads a tribe, trying to rebuild the world according to their own ideals. You explore new lands, build buildings, and repopulate various locations, while discovering mysterious artifacts.

One of the most spectacular components of Revive is your personal dashboard. Just like a sophisticated control panel, players will use it to use their cards (they will have to choose whether to opt for the top or bottom benefits) and will be able to unlock new machine slots that will make it easier for them to move around the world. Of course, we must not forget about the energy to make them work.

If the personal boards are quite a display, the central board is not far behind. From the central rift, players must explore the territories in search of settlements to populate and areas rich in resources to try to build structures around them. On the other hand, each tribe has a special power that can guide the strategy from the beginning of the game.

And although at first the game may intimidate due to its volume or apparent complexity, the truth is that the rules can be summarized in a basic rule: on your turn you can do up to 2 of the 5 available actions or hibernate (which serves to recover cards and gain some resources). The five actions are: play a card, use the switch, explore, repopulate, and build. It's that simple!

At the end of the game, players will earn points from a variety of sources, including artifacts collected, technologies researched, the progress track, and locations repopulated. Also for its artifact card, which is dealt at the beginning of the game, and which consists of three different challenges for which each player can score. For each artifact of the same type, the points are multiplied exponentially, so many points can be added in this way.

In Revive you can earn points in many ways, there is no single path to victory. Players who enjoy chaining actions and looking for the best strategies to optimize their resources will really enjoy this title. The different tribes, which in turn have another power on the back of their board, offer variability to each game. Will you bring life back to the world and write a new chapter in human history?
