They are running out of fuel and their rocket's guidance system takes them to a remote moon. They land in a mysterious abandoned spaceport, completely overgrown with jungle vegetation and infested by a colony of spider-like aliens, who are not too happy about their world being invaded. Large sinkholes soon occur in different areas of the spaceport and it becomes clear why they abandoned it. To escape alive, their only hope is to repair a transport portal and get it working again. Unfortunately, all the portals are offline and hidden under the jungle. So… there's no time to waste, let's go!

Designed by Matt Leacock (the famous author of the Pandemic saga), The Forbidden Jungle allows games for couples and groups of up to 5 players, from 10 years old, lasting about 45 minutes. In this cooperative game, players must work as a team to activate a portal and escape before the ground collapses or they are caught by the aliens.

Those who already know The Forbidden Island or The Forbidden Desert will find similarities in components and mechanics with this new title in the saga, although the theme is completely original. The playing area is made up of 25 tiles that, once shuffled, are placed in the center of the table. These will be the locations through which the players will move, in search of the portal and the crystals to activate it. Each player will have an adventurer card and will have unique and special abilities, which combined with those of the rest of the team can be key to achieving victory. As the players move, they will reveal dangers, including aliens.

Designed to be played with family or friends, The Forbidden Forest will test the communication and teamwork skills of all participants. With 4 difficulty levels, the game adapts to any group. In addition, thanks to the modular board format, no two games will be the same. Will they be able to turn on a portal and escape before it is too late?
