Guerra del Anillo: Reyes de la Tierra Media
Expand War of the Ring with the power of the ancient kings and rulers of the Free Peoples! Kings of Middle-earth is an expansion that requires the base game and includes 13 plastic figures, 5 corrupted ruler rings, 2 special action dice, over 30 new cards, 1 ruler corruption board and 14 counters, plus reference sheets and the rulebook.
The new expansion to the award-winning 2-4 player competitive board game War of the Ring Second Edition offers a whole new level of strategy to all players by focusing on the role of the rulers of the Free Peoples and their weaknesses against Sauron.
Years before the War of the Ring, the Dark Lord Sauron attempted to bend the will of the kings and rulers of the Free Peoples with subtle machinations. His goal was to turn them into powerless puppets, or at least weaken them in preparation for his plans for conquest. When war came, they fought valiantly against the Dark Lord, but for some of them the weakness Sauron fostered proved nearly fatal.
The Free Peoples faction features new figures and specific abilities that bring to life Theodén, Denethor, Daìn, Brand, and Thranduil. This expansion also adds three new characters to the Shadow's hosts, the Dark Chieftains. Unlike the Ringwraiths, who were entirely controlled by the Rings of Power, these powerful leaders of the Shadow Armies had distinct personalities, but ultimately all were subservient to the commands of Sauron or Saruman.
One Dark Chieftain is included for each of the three Shadow Nations: the Black Snake chieftain of the Harad of Harandrim, the Shadow of Mirkwood in Rhovanion, and Uglúk chieftain of the Uruk-hai of Isengard.
Kings of Middle-earth greatly expands the gameplay options for both the Free Peoples and the Shadow in War of the Ring Second Edition. You can combine Kings of Middle-earth with the other expansions to give the game unprecedented depth and discover surprising new strategies.
