Before they become big, fierce creatures, capable of flying and breathing fire, dragons also start out small and need protection. As expert dragon keepers, this will be your task. To do this, you will use a magic book, which indicates how many dragons and what type you can take under your protection.
Dragonkeepers can be enjoyed by couples or in groups of up to 4 players, from 8 years old, in games of about 20 minutes. The objective is to get as many points as possible at the end of the game. These points are earned by playing dragon cards from your hand, following the instructions in a magic book.
Dragonkeepers is a card game that uses an ingenious system of two decks, which are placed in the center of the table, to form the magic book. On the left deck a number and a reward are shown, and on the right deck a specific type of dragon. On their turn, players must play the indicated number of cards of that particular dragon type to claim rewards (amulet pieces, golden eggs, crystals, or powerful shadow dragons) and accumulate points.
On their turn, each player can collect up to 3 dragon cards, which will be used to fulfill the conditions required by the magic book to receive rewards. But that's not all... Players can also use one of their cards to turn the pages of the book, so there are multiple opportunities to claim a reward. The game continues until participants accumulate a certain number of amulets (which varies depending on the number of players).
Winning a game of Dragonkeepers requires being quick and daring, as there are many ways to score points and the magic book is constantly changing. With dreamy art and design, and hints of classic fantasy, this is a game that promises hours of fun in a compact format. Easy to learn (the rules are only 4 pages long!), it will be enjoyed by the little ones and will be a challenge for the older ones. Prove that you are the best dragon keeper in the kingdom!
