Tyrants of the Underdark

"Tyrants of the Underdark" is a territory control board game with a deck-building mechanic. Lead one of the houses from Dungeons & Dragons to power and show no mercy to your opponents. The houses are represented by a special card for their deck, and with each card in the deck, that player can perform different actions with their pawns.

Each pawn belongs to one of the five aspects of drow society, and each aspect leads to different strategies and actions in the game. For example, subordinates with malice are more successful at assassinating your opponent's troops, while followers with ambition are best at recruiting additional followers and promoting subordinates to their "inner circle," a special area that increases their value at the end of the game.

A central market always has new minions that can be hired using influence, one of the two resources in the game. Purchased cards are placed in your discard pile and shuffled back into your deck along with the other discard cards when necessary. The other resource is power, which allows you to place troops on the game board, expand your forces across the Antipode map, manipulate events in the city, and assassinate enemy troops.

Players earn points by controlling sites, hiring minions, promoting subordinates to their circle, and killing enemy troops. Are you ready to defeat your opponents in a strategic and relentless battle with "Tyrants of the Underdark"?
