Welcome to Echo Ridge, officers. The city is full of mobsters and opportunists operating outside the law. Last night, film producer Donny Mureti, the mayor's son, was murdered in his penthouse. We know the crime is connected to the underworld, and the mayor wants to solve the case before the press finds out. You have 48 hours to find the culprit - surveil, interrogate or arrest whoever is necessary. Oh! And don't neglect the other events happening in town. Good luck!

In Little Big Crimes, the main mechanic is deduction. Players take on the role of police officers tasked with solving a murder case while neutralizing the city's mob activity. The game is won by correctly identifying the killer before time runs out. Each player can only make one guess, so solving the case may require cooperation, such as gathering evidence or "sharing" suspects' alibis... but without revealing too much information. To win, you need to balance secrecy with collaboration.

The game offers three exciting variants, each with unique rules, setups, and objectives. The first is the basic or competitive variant, where each player investigates individually and keeps as much information as possible secret. The second is a fully cooperative version, where players work as a team to solve the case. Finally, there is the solo variant, where a single player takes on multiple agent roles.

During the game, investigators consume their most valuable resource: time. Each action is costed in hours, and when all players have used up their 48 hours, the game will come to an end. Knowing how to manage these hours will be crucial to solving the case. Will you be able to manage all the information circulating around the city and find the culprit?
