In the desolate, windswept snowy landscapes of Antarctica, peaks called nunataks rise from the frozen surface. Believed to be the tops of mountains buried deep in the snow, these nunataks are actually the remains of giant ice temples built by a forgotten civilization.

As a member of that ancient civilization, you face the harshest conditions to build the largest temple mankind has ever seen. Sharpen your tools, bridle your draft animals, and transport your ice blocks to the construction site. Adorn them with carvings and receive the blessings of the Ancestors to build Nunatak, the Ice Temple.

Players will create sections of the temple with ice blocks, which will provide them with points during the game. In the final tally, more points will also be added up through the cards collected during the game. The winner is the one who accumulates the most points.

Each turn, players take a building card, which tells them where on the board they must place an ice block of their color from the temple. As the blocks are placed, the temple takes shape into a spectacular pyramid. When 2x2 cube sections are completed, players score points based on who has the most cubes in the section. Once the entire pyramid is built, final scoring begins.

On their turn, each player must decide whether to take a certain type of card for the final score or to build an ice block in a certain place and score the sections on the board.
