You are a captain of the Coast Guard, with the important mission of ensuring safety on the coasts of the North Sea. Together with other captains, you will help to monitor the waters and inspect key infrastructure such as lighthouses and buoys. Act with precision and speed, as time is of the essence to patrol as much of the sea as possible. Navigate your vessel, place tiles strategically, and work as a team with your fellow captains to earn recognition and the admiration of coastal inhabitants.

Through tile-laying mechanics and a modular board, players will work together to explore vast areas of sea and inspect lighthouses and buoys essential for navigation. At the end of the game, they will receive points based on the tiles they have explored. Ready to patrol the waters?

Learning to play Beacon Patrol is easy, and turns move quickly once you understand the rules. During each turn, tiles are placed in the central playing area, adjacent to the tile where your ship is located. Each time you expand the map, you can move your ship across the new tiles, either by making a standard move or by spending one of the three propulsion tokens available. Another possible action is to exchange tiles with other players, allowing you to plan more effective combinations to maximize scoring.

That's not all! Once you've mastered the basic rules, you can add one or both of the mini-expansions included in the box. These expansions incorporate additional tiles that offer new scoring options. For one, wind turbines award points for adjacent open sea tiles, while piers score points for each building in the land areas connected to them.
