Winter - Español

Like every winter, the lake has turned into ice. It won't last long, so you have to take advantage of the cold as soon as possible and manage to master the icy parts before the thaw spoils everything. Choose key areas wisely and control them before your rival to win. Show that the cold never bothered you.

In Winter, two players will compete to be the player with the most chips of their color at the end of the game. The games are divided into two phases. In the first, the freezing phase, players will create the frozen lake together using their snowflake cards. They will also block the areas in which they manage to match four snowflakes of their color with their pieces. In the second phase, the thaw phase, they will have to undo the lake by moving and removing the snowflake cards and each player's pieces. Finally, the player with the most chips on the game board will be the winner of Winter.

Winter has been the winner of the Cardboard Edison Award 2021. It is the first game in the 4 Seasons series, which will continue with the titles Autumn, Summer and Spring. All games will feature intense two-player gameplay and evocative art. The brothers María and Enrique Blasco sign this series of 4 small format games that promise fun and interesting experiences for 2 players.
