On the icy Rune Islands, the Vikings rule. These determined explorers navigate the frozen fjords, build fruitful settlements on rocky outcrops and fight for the glory of their clans with blood and steel. They only bow to their gods, and the dream of every Viking is to serve their deity in the afterlife, in Valhalla.

In Big Little Vikings, you'll lead a clan of Vikings across three eras, hoping to claim the frozen lands as your own. You must play the Viking cards, which represent the leaders of your clan, choosing the best builders, gatherers, explorers and warriors. And you will have to raid and conquer the islands with the settlers, build ships and temples to gain influence, as well as fight for the favor of the gods.

As is usual in the titles of the saga, the Little Big Vikings box comes full of components: a central board printed on two sides with a map of the fjords that we will travel through during the game, cards that show gods from Norse mythology, cards clan, more than 40 Viking cards, 18 favor cards and a lot of wooden figures, among which we find our ships, temples, runes, villages or Viking settlers of different colors. The box will be small, but it's worth its weight in gold!

In each game only 3 of the 6 available gods are used, and each of them has very different powers, making it difficult for two games to be exactly the same. In addition, there are many paths to victory: will you dedicate yourself to obtaining wood, food and steel to make your town grow? Or will you prefer to use your turns to fight and thus achieve glory in Valhalla? It is up to you to shape the destiny of your Nordic clan.
