In Cities, the City Council has commissioned you to create a town planning project to renovate an entire city district. You'll have the opportunity to build new housing and office blocks, parks and leisure areas along the seafront. It's up to you to make the city a better place!

Cities is a city-building game in which you will draft the best projects and organize them in your own play area. Designed by Steve Finn and Phil Walker Harding (creator of Sushi Go, Dungeon Raiders or Cacao) and illustrated by Jorge Tabanera, it allows games for groups of 2 to 4 players, aged 10 and up, with a duration of about 40 minutes. With worker placement and pattern-building mechanics, the game will give us the opportunity to visit the cities of Sydney, Venice, New York, Barcelona, ​​Rio de Janeiro, Lisbon, Mexico City and Buenos Aires. Will you be able to design the most dazzling neighbourhood?

The game is played in 8 rounds (or 4 rounds, in 2-player games). In each round, players use their workers to obtain 1 score card, 1 city tile, 1 or 2 attribute tokens and 2 to 4 building tokens. City tiles are made up of park tiles, water tiles, and building tiles. Building tiles are placed on building tiles of the corresponding color to form buildings, which can range from 1 to 4 stories. City score cards and achievement boards provide players with objectives to complete to score points at the end of the game. Whoever scores the most points has built the best neighborhood and wins the game!
