In 7 Wonders Duel each player is the leader of a civilization that will build Structures and erect Wonders. The Structures and Wonders built by each player make up their "city."

There are 3 ways to win in 7 Wonders Duel: military supremacy, scientific supremacy and civilian victory. Both military supremacy and scientific supremacy can occur at any time, and cause the game to end immediately. If at the end of the third Era no one has managed to win, the players will add up their victory points and the one with the most will be the winner.

7 Wonders Duel is a complete game in the 7 Wonders universe, designed specifically for 2 players.
